Dirty Little Marketing Secret - Use the ATM System to Get Laser Targeted Leads For Your Business

I was thinking the other day how do I attract networkers to my business opportunity? I do not want to chase people and talk to everyone in the working industry, nor do I want to contact my friends and family just for them to run in the opposite direction. Does one give up on the networking business, because there is just nobody to talk to? Absolutely not. I found an article that gives insight on how you should handle the same group of people, but speak to them in a different way, rather then to come out and ask them to join your opportunity. If you give people value, and they can learn from it, they will keep coming back to ask your advice over and over. Looking like a professional who really knows a great deal and you share that value , people will definately notice you. They will start coming to you when they need help.

Yesterday, I got yet another message from a spammer in my in box, trying to lure me to look at some kind of so-called "easy money maker." These people are like flies; no matter how many you kill, there's millions more waiting to fly into your in box.

Let me share with you the absolute best way to acquire any new business. I like to call it the A.T.M. System, and it works for any business. A.T.M. stands for "Attracted To Me."

Imagine for one moment that you've just moved into a new neighborhood. You don't know any of your neighbors, but one of them, let's call him "Bob," comes by to welcome you to the neighborhood and hands you a small basket of garden tools as a housewarming gift.

You thank Bob, and he returns to his house. You think to yourself, "that was nice of him." About a week later, you're in the front yard trying to figure out how to get rid of the brown patches in the grass. Bob strolls on over and says that he has a pamphlet that can give a few tips on getting rid of those brown patches and hands it to you. You notice that Bob's lawn looks like bright green carpet, so you take the pamphlet and thank him again for the information.

From time to time, whenever Bob sees you out doing something in the yard, you notice that he always gives you something that makes a positive impact on the appearance of your yard, so he's always a welcome sight. You notice that Bob does this kind of thing for all the neighbors and they all seem to embrace Bob, so you feel that Bob is a real asset to the community and you log that in the back of your mind.

So, one day you decide that you no longer want to maintain your own yard and decide to hire a professional to handle that. Instead of searching on Google for a company, you decide to head on over to Bob's house and ask for his recommendation. After all, Bob seems to be up on anything related to lawn care.

Bob answers the door with a smile and you pose your question to him. "Bob, I'm looking for a professional lawn care service. Can you recommend someone to me?" At that moment, you get the shock of your life: Bob owns a lawn care service! As a matter of fact, Bob services nearly all the neighbors on the block. He acquired every client that he has in the same manner that he's about to acquire your business - he gave value first.

Will you do business with Bob? Absolutely. He's proven his value and it would almost seem offensive to have his competitor back their truck up to your house.

The moral of this story is, when you move into an online community like this one, you must first identify who lives in the neighborhood and figure out how you can add value for the uplifting of the entire community. Give consistently and freely; establish your value genuinely. You'll become known as the "go to" guy for your particular expertise and be considered a trusted adviser in the community. When the time is right, you'll be contacted, and gaining new business will be effortless.

4 Self-Marketing Strategies That Deliver the Knock-Out Punch to Prospecting Or Cold Calling

Have you just got to the point in your business that you just don't have anymore suggestions, to get your business to a new level of success. I found this ezine article and I thought this would help anyone in the network marketing business to implement some of these strategies.

For some strange reason that I don't understand, there are a lot of people that want to fight and resist the implementation of systems to generate business. The defenders of cold calling and pre-historic prospecting techniques do so because they're either afraid of change or not growing mentally.

If I want to travel from Columbus to Toledo, the choices that I have to get there are to walk, ride a bicycle, or roll in a vehicle. All of these transportation methods will work, but it is ridiculous to argue that walking 200+ miles is superior to riding a bike or riding in a vehicle for all the obvious reasons.

Prospecting and cold calling methods are "effective," but at what expense? Someone argued that it is vital to your business to pound the pavement or make cold calls to get success no matter what technology has to offer.

That's like saying that no matter how fast a car travels or how efficient it is, it is still necessary to walk some if not most of the way to Toledo. I'm laughing right now just thinking about that foolishness.

Here are 4 self-marketing strategies to consider that generate targeted leads nearly effortlessly:

EZINES/ARTICLE SUBMISSION: I submitted just 10 articles to a popular ezine website and here were the results - Article Views: 259; Conversions: 22; Time investment : 30 minutes. As a prospector/cold caller, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to get 259 people to listen to you by phone OR in person in 30 minutes, let alone have 22 of them have serious interest. Also, I didn't have to endure any hang ups or sadistic behaviors because I called or walked in at the wrong time. I endured no sales resistance or rejection. Finally, this is a RESIDUAL strategy that keeps pulling interested leads month after month on its own without my involvement. Oh yeah, I almost forgot - it's free.

VIDEO MARKETING: Here are some stats from my YouTube.com Channel - Videos Uploaded: 43; Video views: 1,703; Subscribers: 92; Time investment: 3-5 hours (one time). The ONLY people who view my videos are those INTERESTED in my content. 92 subscribers says that these individuals have CHOSEN to receive my latest content on a regular basis. Just like article writing, no sales resistance, no rejection. This also is a RESIDUAL strategy that keeps on pulling leads month in and month out on a ONE TIME EFFORT. Did I mention this is free?

BLOGGING: A good friend of mine named Tracey has a blog site that gets 9000 visitors per month and she is an absolute "nobody." She had acquired nearly 300 clients just from this one strategy! No one ever visits that's not interested; no one is ever called that doesn't have interest. No rejection, no waste of time, effort or money here. Not one red cent spent on this strategy and it is also a RESIDUAL marketing strategy. Accept for uploading new content, this is self managed.

WEBINARS/TELESEMINARS: Last Tuesday, I implemented another webinar strategy into my fold which I host once a week for 30 minutes. Here are the results so far - Webinar attendees: 43; Conversions: 4. So, I'm hovering right around a 10% conversion on a total of 1 hour of effort so far (I've had 2 webinars). The funny thing is, only those interested show up! My financial investment? -0- Dollars, -0- cents. No cold calling or prospecting done to get attendees.
This is just a sample of what's possible when you self-market correctly.
I know that old habits die hard, but seriously, stop "walking" everywhere to get to your "destination." Jump into the vehicle known as self-marketing and retire your walking shoes.

10 Plagues That Fall Upon the Average Network Marketer and What to Do to Combat Them

I would like to talk to you straight from the heart.

The economy is faltering, you just lost your job, and you have bills to pay, and there is no money to pay them. What do you do?

Someone tells you about a Multi Level Marketing business you can start at home for very little money and it sounds good to you. You invest the money with every intention to make this business grow, but wait a minute, it just is not as easy as you may think.

I would like to give you some advice on why your business is not taking off, and to give you solutions to your needs.

In the world of Network Marketing, it has been well documented that there is a great amount of failure that falls upon nearly everyone who innocently enters this industry to pursue their dreams of financial freedom.

So, what's the problem? Here are 10 plagues that the average network marketer suffers from and what to do to combat these plagues:

PLAGUE #1: Lack Of Quality, Pre-Interested Leads - the fatal flaw is talking to the general public and our warm market (i.e. friends and family). Developing a system to lure only those who are looking for a network marketing opportunity is the best solution to this problem.

PLAGUE #2: Lack Of Money - The average network marketer makes about $10/week. Cashflow generated from the sale of funded proposals creates immediate cash and solves this problem usually within 30 days of implementation, sometimes sooner.

PLAGUE #3: Lack Of Marketing Training - Are you network networking or network MARKETING? Prospecting is not marketing. Building a marketing system using web 2.0 strategies (i.e. social media, videos, blogs, capture pages, etc.) provide leverage to attract your true target audience.

PLAGUE #4: Lack Of Duplication - Only 10-15% of people possess a "Prospecting" personality (i.e. they can handle high amounts of rejection). In order to duplicate genuine success and growth, you must teach a marketing strategy that eliminates personalities and works for 100% of the people.

PLAGUE #5: Lack Of Staying Power - The expiration date on the average network marketer is 63 days. The high quit-rate is directly related to making little or no money in the first couple of months. So the use of a funded proposal as mentioned earlier will anchor any new reps because it produces immediate cashflow.

PLAGUE #6: No Time Leverage - Most network marketers use 100% of their own time to locate, qualify, present, and convert their leads, which causes them to feel as if their business owns them. You can eliminate up to 85% of this effort by implementing an automated lead generation and follow up system.

PLAGUE #7: No Personal Branding - Establishing your uniqueness is the only real competitive advantage that you have. There are several hundred thousand potential people in your particular network marketing opportunity, but only one YOU. Brand YOU, not your company, and you'll become instantly magnetic and stand out from the crowd.

PLAGUE #8: Resistance To Change - The #1 reason that dinosaurs are extinct today is because of their inability to adapt to a changing environment. Eliminate using 20th Century tactics on the 21st Century consumer.

PLAGUE #9: Broken Focus - Attempting to build multiple network marketing opportunities is gaining in popularity, but contributes to the poor success rate. In order to generate enough heat with a magnifying glass, you have to hold it steady; which means you have to focus on ONE spot long enough to get it to catch fire. Trim down to one business and stick to it until it produces a fire.

PLAGUE #10: Get Rich Quick Mentality - Getting rich quickly in ANY business is quite rare, and network marketing is no different. Settling down into an organized effort of time management, goals, objectives, action steps, and implementation over time is the way to riches, but it doesn't happen overnight. Getting rid of this mentality will serve you better in the long run.

When I embraced the solutions to the above plagues, my business finally began to yield some extraordinary fruit.

Personal Choice and Prevention

I am a fan of the new TV show "Know The Cause" Host Doug Kauffman, and he educates us everyday on the effects of our health due to the poor choices, or the smart choices, depending how you want to live your life. We can be making smart choices and living a productive life, and enjoying good health or we can make poor choices and be living a life with disease, which only causes us to be counterproductive.

When I saw this post, I thought it is something that would interest the viewers. It is something I get very passionate about, because I am a firm believer we are in complete control of our bodies, and we determine whether or not we will get the common diseases that plague our society. I get very upset when I run across people who believe there is no cause and effect to disease. When people say we have no control over disease that it is a heritary condition, or we were dealt a bad hand. Nonsense to say the least.

I got into an argument the other day with a man on another blog about healthcare reform and the role of personal choice in prevention. Our argument centered around the obesity epidemic, his being that people largely have little control over their weight and it is the result of their socio-economic status and the neighborhood they live in with it's accompanying lifestyle.

My reflex response was "WHAT?!?!?!" However, I knew what he was referencing. There have been a number of social studies conducted that draw a correlation between lower incomes and the greater incidence of obesity. There are also studies showing that people in areas such as New York City that are more likely to walk than drive anywhere are more prone to leanness than those who must drive everywhere.

I agreed with him that some policies were to blame for the ease of acquiring junk food (i.e. the ridiculous subsidies to Big Corn...) and that exercise as a choice was more difficult than exercise as a necessity. But in the end,

"There is no iron fist forcing a twinky wielding hand into a complacent mouth. There is no infinite weight chaining someone to a recliner next to a six pack of Bud heavies and a TV dinner. There is no mandate forcing someone to order pizza rather than bake some chicken and steam some broccoli. Our society has made it increasingly easy to eat garbage on a regular basis (which is where I fault our broken policies); but in the end, only you have the final say about what goes into your mouth."

I hate studies like the ones I mentioned above because they give people the green light to surrender their health to the state, to chance, to genetics, to their neighborhood, or whatever. There are a million reasons to neglect your health; none of those take away your choice to be healthy. Our society loves to play the blame game, but I'm here to remind you that the responsibility is yours.

The "Fred Flintstone" Network Marketer Vs The "George Jetson" Network Marketer - Which One Are You?

When I was growing up I just loved to watch the Flintstones. When I saw this ezine article from Larry Beacham CLICK HERE: I just had to share it with you.

People in the network marketing business must not allow themselves to follow stone age marketing techniques or they will be left out in the cold only to find themselves broke. When you spend your money on old marketing tools, like buying leads, cold calling, calling family and friends, you will find you are spending more than you are taking in. That is not good business sense. Read for yourself.

Look, this is the Information Age not the Stone Age! The techniques and approaches that were used in times past no longer hold their power and effectiveness in the eyes of today's consumer or prospect.

Network marketers everywhere are learning the hard way that cold calling strangers or pursuing their unqualified warm market (i.e. friends and family) DOES NOT WORK anymore. Yet, millions of network marketers are stuck in the past, using Fred Flintstone techniques to try and lure the George Jetson prospect.

Today's consumer has absolutely no patience for the classic network marketing sales pitch-period.

There must be an easier way to find more and better prospects - and there is. Today's most successful network marketers are using modern technology to BRING PROSPECTS TO THEM, rather than fishing for prospects over the phone, in public places, among their relatives or through purchased lead companies.

Take a look at the contrast between the "Fred Flintstone" and "George Jetson" network marketer:

FLINTSTONE: Uses things like a prospect list (aka "names list") and acts like an amateur telemarketer calling everyone they know in the hopes of locating a handful of people that have interest in their business JETSON: Uses emails, web sites, and blogs to ATTRACT a very targeted group of people who are drawn by an already established and cultivated interest in an opportunity - specifically a network marketing opportunity.

FLINTSTONE: Drives to various local "business opportunity meetings" and invites their unqualified prospects to sit for up to an hour or more listening to information about their company, product, and compensation plan, only to be disappointed later that they had little or no interest (i.e. rejection) JETSON: Hosts webinars or teleconferences that may be pre-recorded and hosted on a website for pre-INTERESTED (not pre-QUALIFIED) prospects to connect on their own terms 24 hours a day, thereby leveraging time and eliminating the sting of being rejected.

FLINTSTONE: Thinks like a sales rep - attempting to use compelling sales techniques or tries to "overcome objections" in order to get a prospect to sign up or buy their product. JETSON: Thinks like an independent consultant - provides value to the marketplace on the "front end" by giving their pre-interested prospects a high level of education-providing comfort, confidence and trust.

FLINTSTONE: Doesn't think in terms of long term relationship building with a prospect; wants to sell product or enroll them immediately and if it doesn't happen, that individual is mentally dismissed with no follow up strategy (i.e. the "Some will, Some won't, So what" or "NEXT!" philosophy) JETSON: Understands the power of selling through education and using automatic communications to continue the education beyond the initial contact, allowing the natural buying cycle of the individual to take its course, leading to a sale or enrollment in the future on the prospects' terms - not the network marketers'.

FLINTSTONE: Uses pseudo rapport building tactics to entice prospects to engage them with sole purpose of getting an appointment to pitch their opportunity or demonstrate their product. JETSON: Builds genuine rapport with their pre-interested prospects by writing articles, creating educational videos, blogging, etc., to position themselves as a trusted advisor and respected expert.

To be on the cutting edge, tap into the power of modern marketing to increase your downline, boost sales, and anchor credibility in the marketplace-without ever having to pursue friends and family, cold call strangers or buy leads again. Yabba-Dabba-Do!

Know The Causes of Cancer and Prevent Cancer

I am a firm believe of the bible, and I think if we paid more attention to the material presented in front of us, instead of being a sheep and think that we are above disease, we would all be alot healthier in this country.

Being healthy is alot of common sense. Keep the mycotoxin load down, get plenty of exercise, eat foods rich in antioxidants, practice relaxation, and I think we would all be considerably more healthy. Life is too short to be sick and tired all of the time. People use the excuse that they will die happy. How true is this? Who wants to suffer? There is so much to enjoy in a lifetime, why not enjoy it in good health?

My friend and mentor Doug Kaufmann presented a piece I would like to share with you.

Cause of Cancer

There has been a theory as to the main cause of cancer and how to prevent cancer that Dr. Otto H. Warbug won the Nobel Peace Prize for in 1931. There are many secondary causes for cancer. More than any other disease. This is why there is no simple cure for cancer today. But we have known the main cause and we know how to dramatically reduce our risks of cancer. There is one common thread to all cancers. Cancer is a deformed cell. It does not create energy the same way a non cancerous cell does.

“Cancer, above all other diseases, has countless secondary causes. But, even for cancer, there is only one prime cause. Summarized in a few words, the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal body cells by a fermentation of sugar.” — Dr. Otto H. Warburg in Lecture

This means to us that lack of oxygen and excess refined sugar are the primary cause. Conversely when we get lots of oxygen and limit the refined sugar we consume we dramatically reduce the risk of cancer.

Interestingly, this is God’s plan. We were created eat of the fruit of the ground. In Genesis 1:29 God said, “I give you every seed bearing plant on the face of the earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.” So we were given fruit, vegetables, whole grain, nuts and beans as a balanced healthy diet. There is no refined sugar in the diet that God gave us. There are no food additives or preservatives. If we eat organic fruit and vegetables we avoid pesticides, herbacides and other chemicals. This is the food God intended for us.

This is how we Prevent Cancer.

Today there are many studies on the anioxidant effects of certain fruit, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, beans and herbs. Today we are studying what God said in the begining. Because we have to prove His Word. We have to scientifically know that what God said is true. So we are learning that cauliflower, broccoli, brussell sprouts, cabbage, tomatoes and even apples, blueberries, strawberries and many other fruit and vegetables with natural teas like green tea, oolong tea, and pu-er tea have vitamin, minerals and nutrients that fight and prevent cancer.

When we think of the world that God created we see he gave us plant life throughout the world and our work was to harvest our food. Effectively, we worked were we would get plenty of fresh oxygen and exercise. No pollution. No tall buildings with windows that could not open. Lots of plant life to filter the carbon dioxide and convert it to pure oxygen. In the world God created there was no refined foods or additives or preservatives that effect our health.

The true cause of cancer is we do not believe God and we do not do what he says. If we would simply focus on eating fresh fruit and raw vegetables as God said in the beginning as well as get fresh air and exercise cancer would not be an important disease. It would be rare as it was in the past. Unfortunately, the money motive has caused the world to overlook or even suppress truth and promote lies in the name of the shareholders. Just as there is planned obselesence refined sugar and sodium added most processed foods to have us crave foods that are not healthy and even cause diseases. This is similar to cigarettes, alcohol and drugs. We just gotta have that soda or piece of cake. We can not eat the food if it is not sweet enough or have enough salt and seasonings on it.

So we must have balance in our lives. We must eat a healthy diet focused fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains (not processed or enhanced), nuts and beans. We must limit meat, fish and poultry. Avoid soda and most commercially produced drinks. Drink plenty of water, fresh juice and natural teas. Get plenty of fresh air, sleep and regular physical exercise. We all know the formula to a healthy lifestyle.

As a baby boomer and someone with more years behind me than ahead of me I realize the importance of healthy food, believing God and doing what He says.

We know the truth. We can prevent cancer as with most diseases. What will you choose to do?

Secret Offline Lead Generator Strategy For the Savvy Network Marketer

We have discussed how to attract network marketers on the internet and what tools work to create traffic to your websites. In this day of the internet, everybody thinks that is the only way to do business. Did we ever stop to think, what we did before the internet? I came across an article written by Larry Beacham, that gave a great idea for attracting marketers to your business working offline. CLICK HERE:

I decided to dig down deep into my bag of tricks for getting leads for free and out popped one of my favorite strategies. It's a simple strategy, but rarely thought of, if at all, by most people. It's called The Library Drop-Off technique.

I learned this technique from my mentor and coach Cedrick Harris who is a master of creative marketing ideas. The competitive edge that you have on your competition is thinking outside the box and implementing strategies that escape the mind of most people. This is one of those techniques.

Here's how it works:

1. Purchase a few popular books (i.e. Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Secret, etc.) from a discount supplier or online used book store. A good way to choose your books is to look at the current New York Times Best Seller's list and choose from there. Capitalize on the popularity of these hot titles.

2. Go to the local office supply store and purchase a customized rubber stamp that says, "For Business Opportunities In The (Your City Here) Area, Contact (Your Name Here) At (Your Number Or Website Here)".

3. Stamp this information NO MORE than 4-5 times throughout the book. Once in the front, a couple of times in the middle, and once in the back.

4. Donate this book to the local library.

Talk about residual marketing! Now, you have advertising in the marketplace that will last forever and it only cost you a few dollars to purchase a few books and a rubber stamp. How many libraries are there in your city and surrounding suburbs? You will get contacted by very high quality people by utilizing this technique.

That's today's "secret" marketing tip. Go out and apply it today.
