Using the 6 Elements of Infomercial Marketing To Find Leads
Developing an intimate knowledge of your target market is crucial to your success in MLM/Network Marketing. In order to reach the most number of qualified people, you must understand what they're looking for in great detail, and position it in front of them regularly.
Just the other day, I saw an infomercial for a popular fitness program. It wasn't my first time; as a matter of fact, I actually own this product. However I decided to sit and watch the program again to identify what it was that caused me to purchase this product. There are some very interesting things that I discovered that relate to building a successful MLM/Network Marketing business and I want to share them with you.
Did you know that there is a definitive psychology behind developing an infomercial? From beginning to end, each scene, the words they say, and the flow of the content are all designed to push the buttons of the target audience that they are trying to attract. Infomercials are successful because they follow a distinct pattern. Here are the basic components of an infomercial:
1. Identifying and pressing on the "pain" (i.e. overweight, lack knowledge, etc.)
2. Discuss what you've tried in the past and why "this one" is different and why it will work this time
3. Testimonies of successful customers (usually at least 3 varying in age, race, and talking about their "unique" situation)
4. Call to action ("call 1-800...")
5. Special bonuses ("if you order today, you'll also receive...")
6. The "takeaway" ("limited time offer," "while supplies last," "call before (TIME)"
Billions of dollars are generated each year in the sale of products using this process. Before you dismiss this information because you have never bought from an informercial, remember that they are after a very specific target market, and if that target market sees it enough, they will buy. MLM/Network marketers are at a disadvantage because they don't understand targetmarketing, or how to position their products/services/opportunity correctly to the marketplace. This is exactly why prospecting doesn't work for so many people in that there is no established target, or marketing system set up to attract the right people.
Infomercials aren't looking for just anybody because that would be a waste of resources. The ads are very specific as to whom they are targeting, and they don't leave room for anything else.
If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten. It may be time for a change. Don't pass up a great opportunity for growth today for the sake of what you've been used to.

Marketing Attraction Through MLM Lead System Pro
There is no chance for any Network Marketer (NM) to succeed in the field of Multi Level Marketing (MLM) without any leads, capital, duplication and proper training to start with. These fundamental aspects are necessary to ensure the NM's capacity to make money. As the saying goes, money begets money. You cannot expect to earn a lot if you will not put up a capital first. Thank God this way of thinking is old school.
Today, you can manage to achieve attraction marketing even if you do not have an ample amount of capital. Thanks to the beauty of technology and innovation, new opportunities are made available to people in whatever endeavor. In the field of MLM for instance, a better way to get those precious prospects and targeted leads can be done though the use of the internet. With the help of a system called MLM Lead System Pro, you will be able to improve by leaps and bounds your lead and/or prospect generation without the need to spend a lot of money. This method will negate the need for the old style of gathering targeted prospects through cold calling, purchase of leads and even forcing to recruit your relatives and friends.
With MLSP (MLM Lead System Pro), marketing attraction is made easy with a lot of other bonuses. This system will also provide you with its 4 major components as follows:
• A quality targeted lead generation since the leads will be filtered and qualified. This enables you to have only the hottest prospects that are more likely going to buy or be recruited. This is so unlike the old style wherein you just list down any name you come across with where the outcome is most likely negative than positive.
• It gives you personal branding, actually branding you as the leader and making you stand out and build your confidence allowing you to become truly an expert in the MLM industry.
• It allows you to have customization as well as complete control over all email autoresponder messages and provides an automated cash flow for you.
• It also provides you with a downline Team Builder that allows your team to have a system that can be duplicated.
Just by reading this, you are already well on your way to many riches. The steps are quite easy and achievable. To be a top producer immediately, you need to act fast and do the following:
• Start building your list through the MLSP
• Establish your credibility to be able to start building relationships
• Sell to your prospects and leads included in your list the MLSP and start turning the names into cash.
The system is quite simple and doable!

MLM-Network Marketing Rule #3 - Be Prepared by Having a Pre-planned Response to FAQ's
My wife spent three years serving our country as a soldier in the Marine Core. She told me that she was taught to live by what they call the 6 "P's" which is "Prior Planning Prevents a Piss-Poor Performance." This motto has a lot of wisdom and truth in it, and MLM/Network Marketers would do well to think of their business in this light.
So often I hear MLM/Network Marketers struggle with answering some of the most common questions that a prospect will ask, as if it's their first time hearing that question! At the top of the list is the question, "What do you do" or "What is it?" Normally, the poor MLM/Network marketer gives an answer that is evasive, or just poorly communicated.
I'm an advocate of having a prepared answer, rather than going off the top of my head. So, I use a formula that allows me to respond with clarity, while at the same time compelling the person to want more information (assuming they are a real prospect).
Whenever someone asks you "What do you do" or "What is it?" Here's how you respond. "Well, do you know how (FILL IN THE BLANK)...? Well, what I do is (FILL IN THE BLANK).
EXAMPLE: Prospect: "Larry, what do you do (for a living)?"
ME: "Well, do you know how (most MLM/Network marketers prospect or chase friends and family, cold call strangers, or buy leads to build their business?)"
Prospect: "Yes."
ME: "Well, What I do is (teach them how to get more leads and more money with what I call a "no prospecting" system. Most network marketers hate prospecting, so they get excited to learn a better way and I'm always glad to show them.)"
If this prospect is a MLM/Network marketer, and they've gone through the pain and suffering of prospecting, this is EXTREMELY attractive to them and piques their interest. When you build your response and the prospect can feel your "pain," they'll let you know, and you officially have yourself a pre-qualified prospect.
Sit down with a sheet of paper and put this formula into practice with your business. Once you've come up with a comfortable flow to the "Do you know how/what I do is" formula, practice it until you have it down.
You don't have to follow up with any questions after you say this. If they are interested, they'll let you know; if not don't force it. Remember, prospecting hurts; marketing helps. This is a marketing technique that works wonders for your posture and confidence.
Give it a try and let me know how it works out for you.

MLM - Network Marketing Success Tip #2 - Set Your Goals, Take Action and Track Everything
One of my contacts on Facebook asked me to help them to identify why their best efforts seem to be producing very little results. He was quite frustrated and ready to throw in the towel by the time he reached out to me.
He is new to MLM/Network Marketing, and felt as though he was doing everything that he was told to do to get results. He thought that either he was being lied to by his support team (or he wasn't), or he simply wasn't cut out for this industry (also not true).
So, in the course of our conversation, I was able to identify exactly what was wrong with his efforts, and after I explained where his "holes" were, he was elated to find out that all he had to do was make a few adjustments to his activities and his mental state of mind.
Take a look at these 3 things that I found that he was doing wrong and make sure that you don't fall into these traps:
1. Unrealistic expectations of success - He thought that he would be an "overnight sensation" because he's heard stories of how people make tons of money in what seems like a very short period of time. This is NOT typical of ANY business, contrary to all the hype. Building a business is like planting a seed in the ground; you can't plant the seed and then stand over it demanding that it produce. It has to take root, and you have to provide the nourishment and care to make sure it doesn't die in the ground. It's not productive to have the get-rich-quick mindset; it takes TIME to build a successful business, and there's nothing you can do about that but develop patience and the right habits.
2. Sporadic activity - He had not developed a calendar of planned activities for his business. He just did whatever he could with whatever free time he could come up with. That's totally unprofessional. Developing "office hours" is crucial to building consistency, and that can't be taken lightly. He planted the "seed," now he needed to organize a regularly scheduled "watering." If over the course of a week you only have 7-10 yours available, that needs to be a deliberate, targeted, pre-planned, and non-negotiable time towards building your business. Don't make excuses because, if this were your job, you wouldn't make excuses; or you would be unemployed. Clock in, do what you have to do, and clock out.
3. No tracking - He wasn't keeping track on phone calls, appointments, emails, etc. No company that is interested in real sustainable success makes this mistake. Keeping "stats" is central to being able to identify where your strengths and weaknesses are. Most people haven't figured out what their ratios are. Take a look at this following ration: 194:13. This is my stat for leads:conversions over the last 30 days. I know that for ever 14 leads I get through my marketing (I don't prospect) I'll convert 1 to a business partner. My goal is to improve my stats by tracking everything from articles (like this one), emails, videos, phone calls, etc. It doesn't have to be a mystery as to what it takes to get your business to the next level. "Keeping score" is what you need in order to find out.
Just because you're building your business part-time doesn't mean that you're excused from being a professional. Take a second look at your commitments to make sure that you're not fooling yourself and organize yourself for success.

HOME :: Home-Based-Business / Network-Marketing MLM/Network Marketing Success Tip #1 - Breakthrough Comes When You Decide to Go "All In"
Write down short term goals, and write down long term goals, and set out a plan on how you are going to achieve those goals. Anything worth having is worth working for, and when you finally achieve what you want, you will feel like you have accomplished what you set out to do. Boy does that ever feel good.

In the book, "Emotional Intelligence," there is a graphic example of the power of emotions over logic that has made a huge impact on me, and it is at the heart of what it takes to succeed in business.
The story is told of a parent who, being unable to swim, witnesses their child fighting for their life out in the middle of a body of water. Under normal circumstances, this parent would not enter any large bodies of water because of the fear of drowning; but the stakes have been raised.
Their child's life is on the line, and the fear of their own demise takes a back seat to that of their child, and they plunge into the water. Clearly this is an illogical decision, but you have to grasp the point of the story:
That parent was EMOTIONALLY MOTIVATED to do something that they otherwise would NEVER do.
My question to you today is what is it that you want to accomplish so badly that you would be willing to sacrifice your life to get? I'm not talking about your life in a literal sense, but I'm talking about that thing that motivates you so much that it moves you to tears, or makes you feel like your life would have been a waste if you were unable to accomplish it.
When I look into the eyes of someone who says that they can't accomplish something because of time, money, resources, age, gender, race, skills, etc., I know I'm looking at someone who has yet to find that place of passion on the inside. Whatever they're trying to accomplish has taken residence in their HEAD and not in their HEART. Until they can make that "relocation" they will never accomplish the greatness that resides in them.
Is your dream in your head, or in your heart? To succeed at a high level, you have to be sold out from the heart out. There is no other way.
Let me share a quote that embodies the point I'm trying to make, and hopefully if you're struggling to find your passion you will stop and take a quiet moment to identify exactly why you're doing what you're doing. If it's for money, houses, cars, vacations, prestige, and all the trappings of this world, then I hate to disappoint you, but you haven't really found your passion. These things are worth having, but when it gets hard and you don't know if you're going to make it, these things will NOT move you to continue. It's not until you can identify that core purpose that you will truly do whatever it takes.
As you read this quote, think about your reason/purpose for building your business and ask yourself if you feel this way about it. Les Brown said it this way about your dream:
"If you want a thing bad enough to go out and fight for it, to work day and night for it, to give up your time, your peace, and your sleep for it. If all that you dream and scheme is about it, and life seems useless and worthless without it. If you'll gladly sweat for it, and fret for it, and plan for it, and lose all your terror of the opposition for it. If you'll simply go after that thing that you want with all of your capacity, strength and sagacity; faith, hope, confidence, and stern pertinacity. If neither cold, poverty, famine or gaunt, sickness and pain; a body or brain can't keep away from that thing that you want. If in darkness and grim you beseech and beset it, with the help of God, you'll get it."
If the dream is big enough, the facts don't count!

Focusing on the Wrong Type of Duplication Is a Formula For Failure in Network Marketing
If it is your goal to earn a six-figure income in MLM/Network Marketing, then the first step is to forget everything you've learned so far about duplication. It's holding you back and I'm going to show you why that is.
The term "duplication" is one that you'll hear quite frequently in MLM/Network Marketing, and it is used to define the act of an upline sponsor teaching and training a downline individual the steps to success.
Typically those steps are writing out a prospect list, contacting/inviting friends and family members to look at the opportunity, and follow through to get a distributor or customer. Sound familiar? As a matter of fact, it is drilled into your brain that you have to duplicate yourself in other people in order to succeed and to obtain the coveted "walk-away" income (a.k.a. residual income).
This is the driving force behind the whole idea of building a downline in the first place. I'm here to tell you, there is a fatal flaw in this mindset, and I want to expose you to how the top 3% of income earners go about "duplicating" the steps to success in network marketing. I want to challenge you to compare this to what you're currently doing and make a determination whether you're on the path to financial freedom or not.
"We hold these truths to be self evident, that all duplication is NOT created equal."
The champions of network marketing are experts when it comes to things such as marketing, copywriting, promotion, branding, and of course recruiting. They invest huge sums of money and time in order to obtain and master this content, and in turn use it to attract massive amounts of leads.
They don't concern themselves with worrying about whether every person in their organization "duplicates" what they do. Rather, they are only looking for people who are after the type of success that only comes from a commitment to personal development and strong leadership.
Basically, the real duplication that they are after is someone willing to run as hard as they do; someone willing to invest in what it takes to enroll at a high level and get massive success quickly.
Case in point: I recently listened to a one hour video interview with a guy by the name of Mark Weiser, who is best known for his ability to enroll over 20 new distributors every month (impressive, right?). He explained his process of sifting through tons of people just to find a handful who really wanted to run hard TODAY and that was all he worked with.
He went on to say that he didn't enroll everyone that had the money to get involved. He was very selective in choosing who he would work with, and still enrolled 20 people every month! He made it perfectly clear that duplication was the LAST thing on his mind. He knew that if he found the right people, they would do what it took to succeed with or without him, and that was the only duplication that really mattered.
Highly successful people in any walk of life get there by going the opposite way of the crowd, and it's no mystery why only a tiny percent of people ever reach the top. The only duplication that matters is SUCCESS. Focusing on your personal development and leadership, followed by attracting and working with other "3 percenters" is the only duplication worth, well, duplicating.

HOME :: Home-Based-Business / Network-Marketing Warning: If You Are in Network Marketing, These Truths May Challenge Your Beliefs
If you answered yes to these questions, please read the following post, I think it provide insight to your dilemma and maybe open new doors for you.
I remember back about 15 years ago when I first got involved in Amway, I would attend local hotel meetings and major events around the country, and would see the "heavy hitters" and their lifestyles being flaunted in front of us.
Leaving events like this, I would feel motivated to go out and chase down as many people as I could get in front of. My personality is the type that isn't afraid to step up to people, strike up a conversation, and ultimately lead to prospecting that individual for my business.
The problem with that approach is that 85% of the people out here don't have my type of personality, but this is the #1 approach being taught by network marketers. Teaching this technique is a set up for failure for 8.5 out of 10 people, yet everyone I would produce in my business was taught this technique because that was all I knew.
The other issue that nobody ever told me about is that approximately 10% of the people out here are entrepreneurs, and VERY FEW of them understand network marketing to be a legitimate industry. This is huge because when you're in a business that involves bringing in entrepreneurs as one of the elements needed for success, it is important to assess this quality up front, as well as identify if they are resistant to network marketing before we even talk.
Unfortunately, I had to learn this the hard way by taking on massive amounts of rejection when I would contact a friend or family member, maybe someone I met out at the mall, or picked up a business card somewhere and contacted someone. Even if they agreed to meet with me, the odds were already stacked against me because I was ill-equipped to pre-qualify these people based on the criteria previously mentioned.
Network marketers defend this approach vehemently because they see their upline has succeeded doing it this way, so it must obviously work. Yes, it does work for about 5-10% of those who participate in this industry. So what about the other 90-95% of the people? If they aren't equipped with the tools necessary to fit their personality type as well as ways to get in front of people who actually want what they have to offer, why would you expect them to succeed?
Network marketers are digging for gold, but just like the California gold rush, only a few people were able to strike it rich FINDING GOLD.
Guess who actually got rich during the gold rush? It was the people selling the picks and shovels, not the people digging for the gold!
If you want to make wealth in network marketing in today's society, you must first learn how to first sell picks and shovels (information) and supplement that effort by digging for gold.
THAT'S THE "SECRET". These are the "new" rules of the game.
Back 15 years ago, it was unheard of for someone to be involved in multiple network marketing opportunities. Today, this is very common because people can see that buying products from people is taking over from buying them at a store. So, they want to get in position to get as much of the pie as they can.
Back 15 years ago, people in network marketing were insulated by their upline from gaining access to tools outside of their companies, let alone selling them for profits. Today, selling information on the front end about how to succeed in this industry is BIG BUSINESS and provides immediate cashflow while still searching for that gold.
Stop playing by the old rules.
Mark Twain said that you get rich by knowing where everyone is going and get their FIRST. Trust me, playing by the "new" rules is much more fun (and profitable).
