Be Creative & Have Fun Building a Downline!
I've been helping some new Home Business Reps lately and I have to tell you, I'm impressed with the excitement that my enthusiastic trainees are oozing my way!
These individuals are marketing some of the more popular MLM products in the United States, and they generate quite a bit of income just from selling products... without having to bring in a downline.
But let's say you are a Rep who wants to Build an Empire.
Quickly building a downline may be eluding you. Everyone is more than happy to host a party for you, and you have several people at each party who each buy something - which gives you a one time commission.
Face it ladies (and gents), this is MULTI-LEVEL Marketing. You don't have to do it all by yourself.
You're afraid of becoming the "crazy MLM" person in your neighborhood so you don't do anything but push products and half mention that there's an opportunity at the end of each presentation because you don't want to chase, bug, or beg (and who can blame you) and lose what precious product sales you can get from your limited warm market...right?
I'm right. Don't try to tell me I'm not. *Wink*
There's a solution. You don't have to change much about your presentations either.
Imagine offering some free information about how they can market this opportunity and these products to the whole country (or the whole world!) with the click of a button.
Most people shy away from MLM because they don't want to bug anyone. They don't want to convince anyone...and quite frankly, doing MLM the old fashioned way is not as part time as anyone promised.
So let's imagine you, and your downline, creating a place on the internet to promote your stuff, and your opportunity in a non-threatening, appropriate way that does the sifting and sorting for you allowing you to manage follow-up with thousands of people without impeding on your ego, or your family time.

It's a good one.Now, imagine that you don't have to create the training system, or even your web-site from scratch. It's already built for you, all you have to do is plug in your own words and follow some marketing steps and it's ready to share with the world.
Pretty great idea right?

MLM business is now really depending on the internet to a large extent. It no more relies solely on the marketing through 'word of mouth' and, as you have pointed out, on going to people and trying to convince them.
